mouse@FUTON.SFSU.EDU (Robert Herrell) (06/09/90)
The story so far ... I've finisher debugging the code, and it works -- that is to say, its final configuration for the R-pentomino is the same as the one in my books. (It's my guess that the R-p will find any bug in any life program, no matter how obscure.) I have not formatted, commented, nor documented my code. My apologies to all those who (like myself) did not realize that my summer "break" would actually be *busier* than my spring semester. It will not be presentable for several days, but those of you who are extremely curious and consider yourselves good at wading through indecipherable junk may write to me requesting to see my current version. I don't know how long it will be before I can get back to futon to read your mail, though. Again, I'm sorry to keep you waiting and I know that I've already made a rotten first impression for anyone out there who was going to hire me :) but your patience will be rewarded. Keep the mail coming, though.
