Hello- 11/1/90 I apoloagize if this seems like an inappropriate posting. While I am not new to the concept of cellular automata modeling, I am new to the concept of posting. For a number of years we have used CA models to suggest features of electrical propagation in heart tissue which give rist to reentry. Our CA models were written by a programmer who left 3 years ago, and we have had considerable difficulties in maintaining that code in his absence. The code contains numerous VAXisms which we would like to repair and/or eliminate so the CA simulations could be run either on a UNIX (Silicon Graphics) workstation or on a MAC II. I provide this description only as a rationale for what we are looking for: 1: a commercial package which will allow flexible implementation of the parameters for our CA simulations. 2: any public domain (with C source code) software which will provide the same. Please address correspondence directly to me, and I will gladly post an additional message which reviews the responses. Thankyou in advance Dr. Andrew E.
