Help...I have a printer labeled "Texas Instruments 99/4 impact printer". It looks a lot like an Epson MX-80; and indeed, epson is written all over the inside of the case. I use it as a draft printer at home. Recently, the printhead lost a dot. I checked with the local epson dealer who said a replacement printhead (part only) from him would cost around $180. For that price, I can buy a whole printer. I have heard rumors that there are companies which rebuild print heads and sell them on a swap basis (like auto starters or carberators.) So far, rumors are all I've found. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks. David B. David J.
