One our users has a problem with his Panasonic KXP-1081i dot matrix printer. He likes to save paper by printing on the very first page using tractor feed paper, so he sets his printer to friction feed for the first few lines then engages the tractors after the paper has advanced far enough. Trouble is, occasionally the paper seems to stick to the rollers, so that two lines are printed too close together, or even overlapping one another. He says it isn't related to the tractor feed engaging, that it happens while the printer is under friction feed. Is there some cleaning or other PM I could try to banish this oddity? Thanks for any advice on these printers, which I've never even *seen* before.
