Hello, I would like to know if the Okidata Microline 82 & 83 printers are just text printers, or are they capable of producing graphics. I would like to have them installed on the ibm pc. Can they print IBM graphics? If not, what could be done to make it print IBM graphics? Is there a chip needed to add to the printer? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Okidata printers are capable of printing graphics, but they use their own particular escape sequences to do so, and are not compatable with the IBM ProPrinter (as I remember). Most graphics programs support the printer, however.
