Should not be a problem.  The original C-Itoh was just a C-Itoh 850 with a
serial port and an Apple logo.  If the Imagewriter II still has a 25 pin
serial port, plug it in and try different 24 pin drivers until it works.
Epson LQ-1500 is pretty standard.  If all the printer has is an Apple
LocalTalk connection (Round 8 pin?), then a serial converter is reccomended.

If you can't plug it in, try selling it.  Panasonic makes a good 24 pin (1124)
which retails for under $300.  You can use it with your parallel printer port
and get much faster data throughput.  The print speed is about the same.  You
may even convince somebody to swap with you.

If you are trying to share an Imagewriter with an Apple by installing a 
switchbox, it's easier to network the two machines.  Try TOPS.
