I am looking for a printer or print engine that meets the following requirements. The dimensions must be less than 1 inch high, 3 inches wide and 2 inches deep. Of these dimensions the height is the most critical. It should take paper around 2 inches wide and print with a resolution of at leas 420 dots per line. It needs to be very quiet so thermal technology is probably best, although if you know of better technologies (inkjet, etc) let me know. The printer is going to be integrated into a product, so the more stripped down the better. Please email any responses.
