In relation to a previous post summarizing DeskJet experiences, I have had
very good success using Parker Permanent Black Super-Quink. Inject it with a
hobby oiler sans oil. You don't need to limit yourself to 1 cc per charge with
this ink, and you don't have to drill out the top of the cartridge, either -
the needle on my injector left sufficient space for air to escape.
Also, if you use a totally dry cartridge for re-inking like I do, you will
probably get very unpredictable results for the first few pages until the ink
evens out in the sponge. I injected 2 oz with no siphoning effect.
