I keep most of my personal financial records online, and it occurred to me that if I could actually print checks from my computer it would save me a great deal of time. Does anyone know of places that will print bank checks (with the magnetic-encoded numbers) for impact printer (form-feed) or laser-printer use? _Mark_ <eichin@apollo.hp.com> <eichin@athena.mit.edu> ps. My apologies if this is an inappropriate choice of newsgroup, but I didn't see any that made more sense out of the several hundred I scanned through. Feel free to suggest a more fruitful place to ask. Reply by email in any case. Thank you.

Intuit will sell you pre-printed checks properly encoded to be
readable by banks (i think they guarantee it) and software to write
checks among other things.
as far as newsgroups goes, misc.invest?
