Is anyone out there familiar with the Tektronix Parallel Interface or know of a easy to find document which describes it. We have a 4693DX color printer and we are trying to improve the quality of the hardcopy that it produces. Currently we dump our X-window images in TARGA format, ship the files to the PC (printer is attached to the PC) and print them using a program called "tektarga". Tektarga doesnt do a very good job of color matching - so we'd like to get a hold of the TPI description (or the source to tektarga) and "roll our own". Please respond via email. Thanks in advance. The very nice user manual for the tek 4693 had a very complete programming section as I recall. Have they stopped shipping that section of the manual ? Philip
