I'm working with an Amiga and A-MAX (Macintosh emulator) and a QMS410 postscript printer. The A-MAX manual suggests saving the print output as a Postscript file and using their "file dump" utility to send it to the printer via parallel port, making sure the printer is in the "interactive" mode. The QMS manual has dire warnings about the interactive mode, saying improper use can destroy parts of the printer. Has anyone heard of this happening? Any suggestions on how to do this successfully? Any help is appreciated! Chip Gallo
