I am interested in placing a Centronics compatible printer about 150 feet away from the computer that will be driving it. I've heard of the Intellicom Long Link, which allows you to convert the parallel data to run over twisted pair and then convert it back to a standard parallel signal at the other end of the run. My question is, has anyone used this device for printing lots of graphics? I'm planning to use it in an application where I need the full bandwidth available from a Centronics connection. Alternatively, does anyone know of other high-performance cable extenders for parallel printers? -- Terry Hull Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Kansas State University Work: terry@eece.ksu.edu, rutgers!ksuvax1!eecea!terry
