Our site is considering Sun's new (this past fall) SPARCprinter package. It's a 12 page/minute 300/400 dpi laser printer which connects to a parallel port on a SPARCstation with Sbus. It comes with software called NeWSprint (yes, the capitalization is correct!) which runs in the work station and does the conversion from Postscript to bitmap. Has anyone had any experience with this printer package? Any recommendations for or against?
