[comp.periphs.printers] PS LASER PRINTERS

I am in the process of researching laser printers to purchase for the office 
in which I work.  I currently have an Okidata OKILASER 840 and I am plased with
its performance.  However, I do have some unanswered questions.

    1. What is the advantage of postscript?
    2. If postscript is worth it, why not purchase a machine with 
       postscript built in? (Like my Okidata) 
    3. What printer would you buy if you were looking at using Microsoft 
       Word for Windows under Windows 3.0.  ( I need three laser printers and
       have approx. $6,000 to spend)
