There I was, all set to buy a Panasonic 1124, when I saw this baby...
Does anyone have one of these? Do you like it? Is it worth ~$90 more
than a B&W only printer?
Color ribbons appear to cost around $25.00. Is it possible to use
Black ribbons once the color kit is installed, or is it fairly trivial
to remove the color kit when you want to print B&W only?
Will the standard Commodore Amiga Epson LQ driver handle this printer's
color mode (which is another way of asking "is this printer's color mode
standard in some way with the Epson LQ series?")? If not, does Citizen
or anyone else have a color-mode driver for this printer?
The printer has apparently been out since 1989. Any ideas about continued
availability of the B&W or color ribbons?
Please respond to me; I'll forward responses to anyone interested or
summarize and post.
