I am attempting to transparent print to a thinkjet printer from a unix box
via a HP150 in terminal mode.
The text prints fine, but most of the printer control escape sequences
do not work (sending an escape sequence does NOT mess up the text either).
For example, the escape sequences for changing the font to compress
or italic don't work. Neither does the escape sequence to turn on
perforation skip mode. Italics does work however!
The printer also doesn't perform form feeds.
Any ideas? I must have tried every combination of terminal set up modes.
