I have an HP Laserjet III + Pacific Page PostScript cartridge setup which is running in PostScript mode most of the time but is used occasionally to print PCL jobs which have the "switch from PS to PCL" and "switch from PCL to PS" escape sequences bracketed around it. The problem I am having is that the PCL-to-PS sequence at the end of the PCL job seems to take effect immediately upon arrivial at the printer even thought the last page of the PCL job is still being imaged inside the printer, thus preventing that page from ever seeing the light of day. Is there a PCL command which can be used to cause a real-time delay of a specified interval or to tell the printer to complete all previous commands before proceeding any further in the print stream. Thank you very much for any pointers. ...Sam -- <skl@wimsey.bc.ca>
