[comp.periphs.printers] Typewriter/Printer query

This is probably a strange question. I have a
Smith-Corona Memory-Correct II electric typewriter.
It's a daisy-wheel type. The earlier version
(the Smith-Corona Memory Correct I, probably) had
(I think) an interface so it could be used either
as a typewriter OR as a computer printer.
This ability was removed from type I to type II.

Does anyone have any documentation on this typewriter,
or its possible use as a printer, or the changes
that took place that removed its printer capabilities?
Or information on how to turn it BACK to a combination
typewriter/printer?

Thanks,
