Hi networkers, I'm new to this group so maybe this came by. I'm using Microsoft Word for Windows to print through Ethernet to a remote lpr daemon on an Apollo (Mentor) UNIX box. The printer link works fine. Windows requires (?) that you load a header.ps file to the printer befor printing. I generated many header files for all their supported printers and they all seemd to be identical. So I just load one once only and it remains loaded. I'm printing text and graphics, graphics comes out fine! text does not! I use this printer to print all my Sun Apollo Postscript stuff from many applications (FrameMaker, Cadre, Mentor etc. etc.), with no trouble. Questions: o Can any one tell me where I've erred. Do I need a special header file? o Does Word for Windows use a special flavour of PostScript? o Ultrascript (Imagen) Postscripts seems to be well behaved apart from this? Thanks very much in advance.
