At the Information Systems department in our university we have a little dilemna. Our imagewriters have come to the end of their life span and we have been examining the options available for their replacement. Our current options are: 1. Buy new imagewriters (We don't like this since the volume of printouts tends to kill them rather quickly) 2. Dump the printers and reduce the cost of laser printing (This is the option liked my the admin since it will make money!) 3. Find alternative heavy duty printers (Appletalk Imagewriter compatible) (This is my preference as long as I can suitable printers). Any ideas that people have on the above options would be greatly appreciated Please reply to me directly rather than the news group.
