Hi there, I have a problem using the new scalable printer driver for windows 3.0 (and deskjet 500, of course) with my deskjet plus and word for windows. The problem occurs if i use mathematical formulas that use big fonts, like square (closed) brackets extending over more than one line. The problem is that these brackets are composed of upper parts (bent), middle parts (straight vertical lines) and lower parts (bent again). The middle parts of some symbols (closed square brackets and some other) seem to be incorrectly aligned with the upper and lower parts forming detectable steps at the merging point. I am not sure, if this is a problem of i) my printer ii) the driver iii) winword. If somebody else has encountered the problem, or knows something about it, please let it know.
