I have the original (NOT XL) PaintJet. I bought it new in March, 1989. (Yea, out of warranty...bummer) The last time I used it, it had run out of black ink. I was'nt doing anything real important so a couple of months slipped by till I got a new black cartridge. (I have a postscript printer, so right now not alot of need for the color.) Now, after I changed the cartridge, the attention light won't stop flashing. I know it either means no paper, or those green tabs on the cartridges are not up all the way, or the carrage is blocked. I've checked everything and it all looks good?!?! Any ideas before I have to send this baby in? BTW, during the printers idle time, I disconnected the power supply. But, come to think of it, the other day as I was sitting at my work area, my bare foot came in contact with the printers AC plub which was laying on the floor. It appeared to make my toe tingle, like sticking your tongue to a 9v transistor battery, but I did'nt think much of it at the time?!? Hmmmm....I think I'll check the output of the power supply. Any other ideas? Thanks.
