It appears to have features equivalent to Epson and NEC, but no dealer in the area stocks them. Information on print quality and interfacing problems is of most interest. From: Steve Dyer <sdyer@bbn-unix> I just purchased a Gemini 10X printer, and so far I've had no problems with it. It seems to be a great value for the money ($319 from Computers Plus in Littleton MA, a mail order firm) I have heard that it's Epson compatible, though I can't vouch for that. It's billed as a 120cps printer, though that seems a bit optimistic; 80 cps is more like it. I'm using the parallel version on my TRS-80 Color Computer along with a Botek serial-to-parallel converter. When I get the chance to experiment with its numerous print modes (bit image graphics, redefinable character sets, italics, etc.) I'll be glad to give another detailed review. As a vanilla dot-matrix printer it's just great. /Steve Dyer decvax!wivax!dyer sdyer@bbn-unix
