Hi!, Well, I called Commodore about my video 'sparkle' problem. Apparently only a small number of the units were affected by this problem. It seems that it has been corrected in the newer units. When I asked them what I could do to correct my problem, they told me that since my unit was still under warranty, I should exchange it for a new one. I did, and now have a perfectly working C64. My reccomendation: before you shell out the bucks for this marvelous little machine, try to see a demonstration of the particular unit you are purchasing (or should I say stealing considering the price?). The unit that I had the problems with had a serial number like P0001... and my new unit has one like P0003... , so it would also be best to make sure you are getting a recently made unit.
