If you just want to play around with LISP and test out small programs, consider XLISP 1.7. XLISP is an experimental object-oriented LISP that is written in C and has been ported to many machines (UNIX, MS-DOS, VAX, etc). You can retrieve the latest version (1.7) and its documentation from Sumex-Aim.stanford.edu<info-mac>xlisp* It's not well-integrated into the macintosh, but the price (0$) is sure nice.
