I posted this request before, but got 0 response. Can someone please tell me who wrote the ShowInit code that displays INIT's icons at startup? I recall that it was put in the PD, and is used by most INITs, but I can't find it anywhere. Either an author's address, or a copy of the code would be appreciated. thanks, -- .......................................................................... We all now know that Paul Mercer wrote the INIT, but do we all know that he has done a new version for compatibility with soon-to-exist versions of the System? The new INIT 31 mechanism is supposed to do something along these lines, and ShowInit (older versions) is not compatible with it. This appeared in MacWeek, MacToday, or one of those thingys. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Alexander M.
