[comp.sys.mac.programmer] Help with the std file manager

   Two questions:
   
   1) How does one get SFGetFile or SFPutFile to initialliy  look at:
      a) A specified folder.
      b) A specified drive.
     I'm on an HFS Mac SE 20 Meg HD. I've tried changing the default drive
     and directory but these had no effect on the standard file manager 
     routines. (A pascal code fragment would be appreciated)
     
   2) How difficult is it to write an editor that supports both text and 
      graphics? If it is a massive task is there an editor out there supplied
      with its source code?
