[comp.sys.mac.programmer] PC XT hard disk connected to a macII?????

stevens@sigi.Colorado.EDU (Curt Stevens) (05/25/88)

I have an old PCXT which has a seagate 4026 hard disk connected to a card
on the bus (western digital compatable controller, I think). I am
wondering if there is any hope of ever connecting this drive to my MacII.
The drive is reasonably fast (28ms) and I could use the extra 20 megs. I
know I would have to get a power supply and cabinet for it, but is it
possible to hook this up to SCSI. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
If you reply by e-mail, I will post a summary to the net. Thanks very
much in advance.
