I just purchased a Commodore 64 without a tape recorder. I'd like to use the cassette recorder/player I have at home. I remember seeing something about how to interface a regular cassette recorder in news a while back. My cassette does have remote on/off control, and auxillary output jacks as required to interface to the C-64/VIC-20. Does anyone know how to do this? David Hinnant N.C. Several companies market such devices, take a look at ads in COMPUTE! or COMMODORE magazine. The cassette is really a pain in the nether regions, the only reason I have one is that it was included in the system price. The 1541 disk drive has dropped down in price to about $250 in the Boston area, and is a worthwhile investment. Also, is there any interest out there in starting a "net.micros.C64" notesfile?
