I am about to embark upon the adventure of designing and building my own microcomputer. I would like to have the system INTEL based. I would appreciate if anyone out there could assist me with maybe some possible preliminary schematics or any other information that might be available. I am on a very low budget and am trying to obtain the components as cheap as possible. Do you happen to know if I might be able to obtain the parts on a donation basis. As long as the components work, I will take them in any way shape, form, or otherwise. Does INTEL or its representatives donate some of their components to ambitious college students for development.
