Is anyone aware of a software package (commercial or otherwise) that patches the 881 opcodes on a 68000 based mac as was discussed a while ago? If not, this sounds like a nice opportunity for some budding entrepreneur out there. At one time, I considered doing it myself, but both the writing and the verification sound like very tedious projects. I would hope that such a package would come as source code (C or MPW assembler prefered) and would include an extensive test suite. This is really the sort of thing Apple should provide as part of the system software. Larry Hutchinson, Tektronix, Inc.
