[comp.sys.mac.programmer] Why is ioFlRStBlk always 0?

cyosta@taux01.UUCP (Yossie Silverman) (07/04/88)

Last night I was diddling with a filefilter function that was suppose to
only let through files WITH a resource fork. I followed the instructions
in the book and tested the ioFlRStBlk field to see if it was 0, which it
shouldn't be if there is a resource fork. Guess what! It is ALWAYS 0!
I wound up using the ioFlRLgLen field, but I am not sure that is the
correct way to go. Can anyone offer any enlightment? Thanks in advance.
