I have been asked to create a database program to manage the operations of a mortuary. (really!) I am looking for a database program that can do the following: 1. User-friendly form-type entry (single entry form) 2. Print on various-size, multi-part, preprinted forms (i.e. Manual feed into an ImageWriter) 3. Little or no data cross referencing, etc, needed. Just the ability to enter a form, save it, and print secondary forms that contain fields from the first form (names, dates, etc.) 4. Some calculation ability would be nice (date subtraction) 5. (not very important) the ability to make a non-modifiable run-time version that could be given to the user so that there is no temptation to copy, sell, or modify the program. 6. (very important) must run on a Macintosh II, 2MB RAM, 40MB HD. #2 is MOST important. There are several multi-part forms that must be used without modification. (i.e. we can't print fresh ones up on a laserwriter) Please e-mail, and I will summarize. (if I get any replies :-) ) Price is NOT an issue here,... but the software MUST be available NOW. (i.e. I can get it by the 15th of this month, and run it on my Mac II) Thanks, matthew@ucsck.ucsc.edu matthew@ucscb.ucsc.edu ...!ucbvax!ucscc!ucscb!matthew and, if all else fails: send c/o kaufman@polya.stanford.edu or kaufman@shasta.stanford.edu Matthew Kaufman
