[comp.sys.mac.programmer] Notice to LSP and Turbo Pascal Users

merchant@eleazar.dartmouth.edu (Peter Merchant) (08/08/88)

I just talked to the folks at TML Systems because I wanted to find out if I
would be able to upgrade to the new TML Pascal 3.0 at MacWorld (I can't, alas)
and they told me of an interesting offer that I thought I would pass on to the
net.

If you are a current owner of Lightspeed Pascal or Turbo Pascal and you've
dreamed of using MPW, here is your chance. Send in the cover of your
LightSpeed Pascal or Turbo Pascal manual and get a copy of TML Pascal AND MPW
for a mere $69.95. Yes, I haven't screwed up the decimal places. $69.95.
Plus $5.00 Postage & Handling charges, so it's actually $74.95.

You get MPW version 2.0.2 and the MPW Documents and TML Pascal and the Pascal
documents and the Pascal Reference manual.

Also, from what I understand, TML Systems will be handling both the TML
upgrade and the MPW upgrades. So if you'd rather go through TML (and they've
always been fine with me) rather than APDA (which hasn't), it's worthwhile.

If you have more questions, contact the people at TML Systems. Their number
is 904-636-8592.

By the way, I don't work for TML Systems. No one I know works for TML Systems.
All I've ever done is use their compiler.

I would guess that you don't get the full MPW 2.0.2, which includes
the Assembler and the stuff which goes with that (interface files,
examples). LSC's ads for their Fortran say they don't include the
assembler, and the (retail) difference between their Fortran with and
without MPW is $95.
