Don't be silly... cmd-K is for Suitcase, of course! :-)
Less obvious is cmd-Y, but I'm used to it meaning "Check Syntax"...

I find cmd-` to be very nice for suitcase.  I haven't seen anything that uses
it, so there are no conflicts, and it can be hit with one
finger motion on the standard Mac II keyboard.

On the other hand, I just noticed that it don't work from Red Ryder...

K is "Connect" and Y seems like it should be "Help" to me...

No, Y isn't for help, the sanctioned, official help character is
<Command>-?.  Of course, if you have an American keybard, you must also
accept <Command>-/ as a synonym, since that is what the event manager
returns for a simple <Command>-? keypress.
