[comp.sys.mac.programmer] Using the Mac SE screen with large monitors

I'm interested in finding out how the Mac SE screen can be made use of when
using a large screen monitor.  The screen I have now uses an INIT to set up
and use the large display,  but leaves the stsrtup screen on the SE's
screen.  What I want to do is make the SE screen do different things,  one
might be extra desktop,  and maybe I'd like to do a 'fatbits' mode on the SE
screen too.

I have access to the source for the INIT for this screen so I can make the
changes I need.  Any help would be appreciated.

I'm using MPW 2.0.2.  The INIT is C and assembler,  and I know both very
well.
