The MacinTalk v1.31 developer's kit from APDA ($10 or $12 or so) contains a Pascal interface file, two versions of the glue library (with assembler sources), a couple example program sources, and some possibly useful programs (Speechlab, Speakfile, etc.). All the source is Pascal. I use C. I have translated the interface file SpeechIntf.p into Speech.h and the source of Say (a simple MPW tool which speaks from stdin). I would like to post these to comp.sources.mac, but I don't know if that is legal. SpeechIntf.p is copyright by Apple (though Speech.h isn't); Say.p has no notices in it at all. I would like to hear that it is OK from someone who is likely to know before I post, however. /JBL UUCP: {backbone}!bbn!levin POTS: (617) 873-3463 INTERNET: levin@bbn.com
