The MPW C header file for SANE, sane.h, seems pretty sparse to me, especially considering how much stuff is in the corresponding Asm header header file, and how much is in a rival C compiler's header file. There really doesn't appear to be any way to call SANE directly from MPW C unless you write your own header file. I sure hope this is fixed in version 3.0. Definitions for calling ALL of the SANE routines from C, as inline trap calls, would be my idea of fun. Why do I want to call SANE directly? Let's just say I enjoy messing around with low-level stuff. Earle R.
