I've been chasing INFO-MICRO down for a while now -- hope this request gets to you. I've picked up the archives on the CPM directory at MIT-MC, so that's ok,but sure would like regular news. I work in the XVIII Abn Corps (Ft Bragg NC) Corps Automation Management Office, where most of our interest is directed towards tactical applications (a la our Apple-based Omninet network), but am running CP/M on my Morrow Decision I (Z80, 64K, 8" DSDD floppy, 5Meg HD, Freedom 100 terminal). I do some work (mostly adapting to run) in assembly, a lot in MBASIC, just starting with JRT Pascal, and have Laboratory Microsystem's Z80 Forth. I'm very interested in fairly simple FORTH applications that I can work with (I find I learn best by figuring out other developed programs). I've implemented quite a few of the available CP/M patches and application programs -- would be particularly interested in hearing from anyone who got the clock software (provided by Morrow in their manual) running for the Decision I -- mine won't accept the date/time! Also any comments on why UNERASE won't work on my system! I look forward to future transmissions, and hope to get some input in once I find my level!
