[comp.sys.mac.programmer] Apple Sound Chip

I am currently playing around with stereo playback and recording
for MacCD V2. However I am having difficulties finding info on the Apple
Sound Chip in the Mac II (register usage, etc). If anyone
knows of  
where the technical info can be found, it would be great.

Coupled with this is the lack of info on how to write syth resources.
Such knowledge seems crucially important if you want to use the
Sound Manager.
