A student at the Institute is writing a program that runs on a VAX and prints MicroSoft Word's RTF files to a LA100 printer. The RTF code produced from Word includes PACKED bitmaps of graphic pictures from the original document. The problem lies in UN-PACKING the PACKED bitmaps so that they can be printed on the LA100. Does anyone know of the algorithm used to PACK the bitmaps? (or hints to how we can UNPACK the data?) Thanks, in advance, ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// // Renato Iannella B.App.Sc.
