I've spent many "spare time" hours in the past couple of months writing a color paint program that offers all (and only) the "basic" features of a paint program but gives special attention to the needs of fairly young kids, e.g. my 6-year-old and her friends, e.g. menu icons, a "backup" feature, and windows that provide constant visibility of the most important options (patterns, colors). I wrote the program mainly for fun and as an excuse to learn some Mac features but it's now at the point where I think it could be of broader interest. I'm willing to give the program to people who, like myself, would eagerly have paid $10-20 for it, but who couldn't afford a professional color paint program, or who would like a program with features intended to make it of immediate interest to kids. Does anyone know how many people might be interested in having this program? What would be the best way(s) to distribute it? Bruce Ballard bwb@allegra.att.com
