I encoutered a lot of problems while using TOPS NETPRINT from an IBM PC connected to a LaserWriter via an AppleTalk network (connections done with TOPS products all the path). The main trouble is that my the print job often fails and returns a message stating that "An impropriety was encountered in PostScript code", or "Running out of Virtual memory" or some other nasty replies. Either the PostScript code generated by NETPRINT is buggy (seems bizare) or there another problem (dialog, link,...) I've forgotten one thing: this happens when the file is somewhat big (say 50 or 100k) and if I split it into small chunks (equivalent to 5-6 printed pages), all is perfect. Is NETPRINT unable to process serious files, or am I missing something? Thanks in advance for any help or pointer on infos.
