I posted a note a few days ago. Basically I've written a short application which works fine, but when I pull open up a DA (using OpenDeskAcc), the floppy drive keeps spinning even after the DA is loaded. I checked with TMON and what happens is that the disk spins for about 0.5 seconds _every_ time SystemTask is called. Other than that the app goes through it's normal paces (as far as I can tell). It's a basic text app; nothing fancy. It's written in LSP, and this problem happens with apps compiled under versions 1.11 and 2.0. This problem does not happen when the app is run under the LSP environment, only when it is built as an app and run separately. OK, here's the new info: What's strange is that this happens with _some_ DA's and not others. The disk keeps spinning after Control Panel, Find File, PowerEdit, "AppleEdit" (THINK's DA editor), Alarm Clock. It _doesn't_ spin after the DA's Key Caps, Scrapbook, Developer's Tools 2.2, or TN List are opened. This is becoming frustrating. Does anyone notice any pattern in the above DA lists, or have any other hints as to what the problem might be? Any info appreciated. (Oh, I ran this on another System Disk , just to check; it still happens. I'm using System 6.02, Finder 6.1).
