Question ... Is there an easy way to make a certain folder (which was made invisible with ResEdit) inaccessible to desk accessory editors like PowerEdit through the DA's Open option? We'd like to install PowerEdit on some Macs that have a large library of files installed for a mathematics program (Maple). These library files (almost 3000 of them) are in a folder called "lib" on the main level of the hard disk. The folder is invisible to prevent trashing or viewing of the files via an ordinary word processor. PowerEdit is a shareware desk accessory text editor. I'm not a programmer, but I play one on TV :-). Please mail responses as I don't read the programmer's newsgroup.
