Is it really true that MPW 3.0 will not run at all on a 1 meg Mac? I understand that you need lots of memory to run SADE, but I can live without it. I would need to have MacsBug running, but I can get rid of all INITs, and of course I'd be using SoloFinder, not MultiFinder. I currently use MPW 2.0 on my 1 meg SE at home and on my 2.5 meg SE at work without problems, although on my home machine it's very slow and I surely wish I had more horsepower. I'd like to upgrade to 3.0 on both machines, mostly to get the new and improved C compiler, but I can't afford more memory on my home SE. It's not feasible to upgrade just my work SE, since I understand that there's lots of incompatibilities between the 2.0 and 3.0 C compilers. BTW, It doesn't look like you can run MPW, your application, and SADE simultaneously in a 2.5M Mac either; SADE (which is 574K) also wants 1024K to run. This means you have to quit MPW to debug. Or buy yet more memory. /JBL UUCP: {backbone}!bbn!levin POTS: (617) 873-3463 INTERNET: levin@bbn.com
