I have been given the job of upgrading some Mac systems and sure could use some of the vast knowledge and experience residing out there in network land. I would greatly appreciate any inputs on your experiences, opinions or recomendations (both pro & con) on any or all of the following types of Mac add-on hardware. --------------------------------------------------------------- LARGE SCREEN COLOR MONITORS SCANNERS (ones that can create text as well as pictures) (they can do that, can't they?) OPTICAL DISKS HIGH CAPACITY HARD DISK DRIVES ( > 100 Meg ) PLUG-IN PARALLEL PROCESSOR CARDS --------------------------------------------------------------- If you have a particular brand to recommend, a possible source address or phone # would be helpful, if you have it. I would have answered the mail you sent me, but I haven't figured out how to get e-mail to go out yet. Everytime I sent a reply it got kicked back with a 'HOST unknown' message.
