Here is a weird one. I just bought lightspeed pascal 2.0 from our campus store, try to copy it to my HD, and "disk error...." and the copying process stopped there. All the other files on the floppy copied. .... So I go down the hall, find someone with 2.0, and ask him to dump it. Disk error. So it is the HD, eh. I disk express the sucker (1.5), and run disk first aid. No problems with media, and lots of free, contig. space. "disk error" on copying.... So I get roomates stuffit 1.5.1, stuff it, copy the archive to disk, and unstuff it. Wham. It works. It was 410 k on the floppy, and is now 402k. The other guy's is 407k.?????? What is going on. I thought I understood macs. System: macII, 030 board..., 5megs, two monitors, both 256 colors....40 meg apple drive.. Lots of other apps have filled up the drive, with above set up. PLease send me email at the following asap. Thanks. jeffrey.buchsbaum@dartmouth.edu jeffb@eleazar.dartmouth.edu
