There seems to be an interaction betweenVaccine 1.0 and LightSpeed Pascal 2.0. Do this. Start up LSP, ask for a new project. When the project is being created, Vaccine will beep and bring up its little buttons in the right-hand corner of the menu bar, asking for permission to add protected resources. Fine, grant permission, the two standard libs get installed. Open a new window, type a few lines of code, then bring up the dialog to change source code formatting preferences. Bombo, with id=25--out of memory. I take out Vaccine, this doesn't happen. I don't find this particularly bothersome, and obviously, when I start compiling large programs, vaccine will have to be disabled anyway. I just thought it was curious that the source format dialog would do this, and result in such a weird error. (With 1100k free in the heap, by the way.) Ken McDonald {...!ubc-cs!mcdonald@fornax.uucp}
