elementary programs for a beginner's C class, and would like to use this package at home to avoid walking around a campus late at night. I've scanned the manual, but can't understand exactly what libraries need to be included, and definately can't understand how to read in another file (i.e. in UNIX, program1.c < programin > program) and write to another file. Even when I run a program containing only a print statement, it doesn't recognize main() I even asked the person who lent me the program (I will buy it if I continue programming in C!), and he didn't understand the manual, either. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I think I would really like to buy this application and make full use of it's power, but if I don't understand it, it's useless to me.
